In order to have the most fun, you need to live as your character profile through your interpretations of their mannerisms, as well as their dress sense! Character resumes are given out at the start of the night to outline all the roles and background information to base the characteristics on. Throw on your longest necklaces and become an eccentric aunt or wear shades to embody the scandalous neighbour who has many secrets to uncover. Any Agatha Christie’s character costumes are bound to impress!

Play in an immersive setting:

This one’s easy with Tŷ Mawr as we have the pleasure of offering exclusive use of the whole hotel for the night. This means the three-hundred-year-old walls can accommodate anything from a creepy theme or a royal scandal. No matter the theme, you are bound to feel as though you are part of the action.

Interact with as many clues as you can:

Though some of the players may be seasoned detectives, each and every clue could be a red herring and it takes a crowd to decipher what is true or not. There are lots of times when individuals may be thrown off the scent of the investigation and it’s important that each player is given time to work things out for a flawless game! You never know, the killer could be the most obvious suspect after all – it’s all about the clues, dialogue and deduction.
